Locations & referral informationDr. Jeremy Swisher is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine. He is board-certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine and cares for athletes and active people of all ages.
His practice centers on focused evaluation and non-operative care, including point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided joint injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid, percutaneous needle tenotomy, and needle barbotage.
A former four-year varsity starter and team captain for Austin College basketball, Dr. Swisher brings an athlete's perspective to injury recovery and return-to-play decisions. He also serves as head team physician for UCLA Men's Golf, Women's Volleyball, and Swimming & Diving.
His academic work spans injury prevention, concussion, recovery science, wearable technology, and tendinopathy. He leads UCLA's musculoskeletal ultrasound teaching series, founded the UCLA MRI Mastery Series, and is a co-editor of the 2027 AMSSM–BJSM themed issue.
